Discovery Time!
We did Discovery in Room 8 today with Room 9 and Room 10. We went to make a beach game outside by the tree and we went to make the water and then we went to paint the box so we could make something.

Flower Power Wednesday
Last week Tuakana was given the flower for his kindness so this week he made the selection. He chose Izaya. Izaya had accidentally kicked someone in the class and after he did that he did the responsible thing and apologized to the student. Well done Izaya! It's great to see so many kind things going on in our classroom!

Sandpit Time
Yesterday the Magnificent Monkeys went to the sandpit and the sandpit was too dry.
So we put water in the sandpit to make the sand thicker so we could make it stick together and not fall down.
The sand got too wet....
... so we mixed it together.
Then we could make sandballs with the sand.
We used persistence because we never gave up. We also used working together to make sure no one got hurt from getting sand in their eyes from the wind.
