Interschool Rugby

All of the houses were playing touch rugby on the field. If you are touched, you have to pass the ball and roll it under you to the next person. There are six people in a team. You have to to try to get the ball over the try line to score a try. Have a look at some of the Monkeys playing in the Kakapo vs Kotare game:

Flower Power Wednesday

This week the Flower goes to Vaueli. He was very kind and took care of Fred when he was sad and upset. Well done Vaueli! What a great friend you are!

FMS Sport

On Wednesday we went to the hall to play sports. Coash Manu and Coach Lisa taught us how to gallop. Step 1: Face the left side. Step 2: Bend your knees. Step 3: Look at the window. Step 4: Put one leg out and bring the other leg to the one that went out. Have a look at a video of us learning this:

Our Country: Cyprus!

This week we are learning about Cyprus. Cyprus is a country in the Commonwealth and this week it is the Commonwealth Games. They are in Glasgow, Scotland. Here is a picture of Cyprus's flag. On the flag is their country and two olive branches. The branches and the white stand for peace.

So far, they have 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals. That's 5 medals total.

What can you find out about Cyprus? Post a comment with what you found on the Internet or in a book.
