Flower Power (Friday)

After weeks of forgetting, Mr Davidson finally got us to pick a person for the flower. This week it goes to Robbie. When Nari got hurt, he comforted her until she was better.  Great work Robbie. You are a very kind friend!

Flower Power (Thursday)

We've been a bit behind lately, but we remembered to give out the flower this week. Leanna got it because when a new student came to our class today, she put her hand up to offer to show her around. What a great friend you are Leanna! Way to Work with Others and Listen with Empathy!

On Wednesday, Kalolo picked Walter for the Flower. Walter was caring when Corrina cried. He helped her to stop crying.  Great work Walter! It's glad to see how well you're Working With Others!

Kalolo picked Detroit to get the flower this week. Detroit let Kalolo have a turn on his scooter at lunch time.

Izaya was given the flower last week and so this week it was his turn to choose someone who was kind. He picked Kalolo. At lunch time, Izaya wanted to play rugby and Kalolo asked him to play with him. Some other children told Izaya he couldn't play, but Kalolo stood up for him and helped him solve the problem. Well done Kalolo! It's great to see that you are being a good friend!

Last week Tuakana was given the flower for his kindness so this week he made the selection. He chose Izaya. Izaya had accidentally kicked someone in the class and after he did that he did the responsible thing and apologized to the student. Well done Izaya! It's great to see so many kind things going on in our classroom!

Flower Power Wednesday

Every week we are going to have a person get the Flower. This will be given to someone who has been kind to someone else in our class. For the first week, our kind person is Tuakana. When Nari was hurt while playing on the park, Tuakana went over to her without waiting and tried his best to help her up and to help make her feel better. Congratulations Tuakana, you are a fantastic role model!
