Pasifika

This week in Pasifika, Mr Siilata and the older children taught us some new dances. The boys learned a  Samoan Faitaupati (a slap dance) and the girls learned a Samoan Siva (please, if this is wrong, correct me). Have a look at the older children teaching the younger children. Happy Day

Today was Happy Day. We went to our morning tea shed and drew some happy day pictures of us. Have a look at what we did and watch the video!

Patterns!

Today, Mr Davidson asked us to make a pattern using anything we could find in the classroom.  We used Lego, puzzles, lids, rocks and shells, numicon shapes and Bee Bots. Can you make a pattern yourself?

Have a look at the patterns we made. Can you figure out what the pattern is?
