Pasifika
This week in Pasifika, Mr Siilata and the older children taught us some new dances. The boys learned a Samoan Faitaupati (a slap dance) and the girls learned a Samoan Siva (please, if this is wrong, correct me). Have a look at the older children teaching the younger children. Today was Happy Day. We went to our morning tea shed and drew some happy day pictures of us. Have a look at what we did and watch the video!

Patterns!
Today, Mr Davidson asked us to make a pattern using anything we could find in the classroom. We used Lego, puzzles, lids, rocks and shells, numicon shapes and Bee Bots. Can you make a pattern yourself?
Have a look at the patterns we made. Can you figure out what the pattern is?
