Pasifika

This week in Pasifika, Mr Siilata and the older children taught us some new dances. The boys learned a  Samoan Faitaupati (a slap dance) and the girls learned a Samoan Siva (please, if this is wrong, correct me). Have a look at the older children teaching the younger children. Remember this is their first try at doing this.

Suaia Matagi

Today we saw a Vodafone Warrior at our school. His name is Suaia Matagi. He spoke to our school and we took a picture with him. This was our prize for doing all the challenges for Samoan Language Week.
