Maths Work Today!
Today we did lots of fun activities in Maths. The Parrots had to make numbers using sticks. They had to read the words, not the numbers. Here is what Preses and Vaueli did:
(Tuesday) Morning Bar Graph
It's cool putting your pictures on stuff (Detroit). 9 people like scooters (Lucas). 5 people like bikes and shoes (Vaueli, Solomon). Some people like scooters because they are fast to get to school (Robbie). No students like buses or cars (Leanna). One person likes skateboards (Solomon).

The Magnificent Monkeys' Assembly
We haven't been updating our blog as much as we usually do this week. That's because this week was our week to put on assembly (and we had a trip!). Mr Davidson promises to update the blog this weekend with some things we did this week, but until then, here is a video of our assembly. We hope you enjoy it:
Lucas also won the attendance draw, so he gets to have cupcakes and milkshakes on Monday at morning tea! Congratulations Lucas for coming to school every day this week!
And here is our certificate for the week. Well done Robbie!

On Wednesday, Kalolo picked Walter for the Flower. Walter was caring when Corrina cried. He helped her to stop crying. Great work Walter! It's glad to see how well you're Working With Others!

Quality Writing
Monday Morning Bar Graph
There are 8 children that like lions. Maybe this is because we were called The Learning Lions last year. One grown up likes giraffes. Two people like rhinos. Not everybody did it on Monday because they didn't get here in time.

Here are some videos of the Sasa that the older children were teaching us:
