Today, Mr Davidson asked us to make a pattern using anything we could find in the classroom. We used Lego, puzzles, lids, rocks and shells, numicon shapes and Bee Bots. Can you make a pattern yourself?
Have a look at the patterns we made. Can you figure out what the pattern is?
Ten people like broccoli (Vaueli). Five people like carrots (Lucas). Our teacher likes capsicum (Solomon). Nobody likes cauliflower, radishes or potatoes.
Today at school in the hall there was a lady and a man doing a science show for us. The big ball and the little ball were on top of each other. When they bounced the power from the big ball went to the small ball and it bounced high. Thank you Nari for taking the video:
The man played with the whip. He told us that end of the whip makes it loud. It goes really fast and that makes the sound.
Here is a Pic Collage we made. Mr Davidson took the pictures and then we told him what to write:
When we went to morning tea and the bell rang we went to the hall again and the man blew some bubbles for the Busy Bees and the Fledglings.
Nine people have seven letters in their name (Leanna). Two people have five letters in their name (Clover). Six people have six letters in their name (Robbie). Two people have four letters in their name (Sini). Mr Davidson has 10 letters in his name (Tiori). Makimaki has eight letters in his name (Tiori).
Today in Discovery, all of the Busy Bees worked together to make things to do with butterflies, caterpillars and insects. Many children were making these out of the collage materials. Here is what Valerie did today:
We've been a bit behind lately, but we remembered to give out the flower this week. Leanna got it because when a new student came to our class today, she put her hand up to offer to show her around. What a great friend you are Leanna! Way to Work with Others and Listen with Empathy!
